We are highly experienced and well educated. Our professional staff is made up of all senior level individuals with advanced professional designations such as CFA Charter Holder, Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor, Certified Public Accountant, and Certified Forensic Accountant to name a few. Our Senior Economist was a Contributing Economist to the Livingston Survey, Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Our staff members have rendered expert opinions in over 400 litigation matters.
We pride ourselves in our ability to make complicated issues easy to understand. Three of our senior staff members held or hold teaching positions at the University of California, San Diego in the areas of finance, accounting, and economics.
Richard Feferman is the founder of Corporate Recovery Associates. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). Richard's focus is on helping creditors maximize the recovery of debts from highly leveraged, distressed companies. Richard conducts special purpose audits (both in and out of bankruptcy) regarding the compliance with business agreements as well as the identification and recovery of overpayments. He is a member of The Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. In addition, Richard was an instructor at the University of California, San Diego where he taught Financial Decision Making as part of the Division of Professional Studies Financial Management Program.
